The Territory Manager is responsible for maximizing the sales of Total Beverage Solution emerging wine, beer and spirits brands through effective territory planning, selling, merchandising and communication that produces company achievement and supplier objectives. The role requires constant interaction with the distributor's sales and promotions workforce, on-premise accounts and liquor stores. The Territory Manager is also responsible for acquiring market intelligence and reporting back to Management.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a relevant field or equivalent experience

Essential Functions

  • Identifies and implements promotional programs and activities in assigned accounts

  • Maintains a high profile in key accounts

  • Identifies and targets on/off premise accounts for placement and sales opportunities

  • Constantly looks for new opportunities in all segments of the marketplace

  • Builds relationships and maintains communications with top bartenders and key off premise buyers

  • Works and interacts with the distributor promotional personnel

  • Manages and attends promotional events.

  • Identifies and recommends additional, suitable promotional events that lead to a positive return on investment

  • Completes all required documentation as required on timely basis

  • Maintains regular and open communication at all times

  • Tracks competitive intelligence, reports upward, applies learning to advance TBS brands where appropriate

  • Responsible for maintaining a monthly TBS budget
