The Brooklyn Brewery seeks a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's digital presence, including website management, e-commerce platform migration and upkeep, and ensuring that our assets are current on retailer and third party sites. The Digital Marketing Manager will create and manage our digital strategy and create the assets to support it while playing a crucial role in driving online visibility, engagement, and revenue growth.
 
They will report to the Sr. Marketing Director and work closely with the Brand Director, Design team, Tasting Room team, and relevant agencies and developers. 
 
Responsibilities include managing and optimizing the below:
 
Brooklyn Brewery site
  • Audit our main site and re-platform if needed
  • Improve the UX of the Brooklyn Brewery website and ecomm platform, including page creation, design, and support with the support of our external developers 
  • Manage and maintain our website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for SEO
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
 
E-comm
  • Migrate our current e-comm platform to a more efficient e-comm solution
  • Oversee and manage the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and customer experience
  • Increase traffic and sell-through overall but in particular, for our merch and non-alcoholic categories
  • Plan and oversee our DTC strategy
 
Retailer, Third party platforms, Reviews sites
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to ensure that our assets are current and effectively represented on retailer sites (e.g. Target, Whole Foods), e-delivery sites (e.g. Minibar) and review sites (e.g. Yelp, Google Reviews, TapRm)
 
Other
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling digital assets, including graphics, videos, and copy.
  • Coordinate with paid advertising and media partners to improve marketing results and web traffic
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to increase visibility and drive qualified traffic.
  • Identify key metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and report out on results and suggestions 
  • Manage digital marketing budget
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, preferable at a consumer and/or lifestyle brand
  • In-depth knowledge of website management, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Experience with WordPress and can make non-code based updates
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred
 
Nice to have:
  • Experience with retail syndication platforms such as Syndigo and Salsify
  • Has migrated e-comm platforms 
  • Has managed an agency to re-design/overhaul a website
  • Experience managing DTC channels
  • Has a roster of trusted digital agencies and developers we can partner with
  • Appreciation of Brooklyn culture, especially surrounding music, food, activism, and art
 
Salary: Up to 75K/year dependent on experience
