Mike's Hard Lemonade is expanding due to the company's continued sales growth and the growing importance of Flavored Beer insights. This role, working closely with Marketing and Sales, is responsible for analyzing point-of-sale scan and consumer panel data. This role will develop fact-based data presentations and reports that lead to better assortment and merchandising decisions. This role also supports category management and shelf validation tasks on an ad-hoc basis.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Reporting (40%)
  • Prep, cleanse, and integrate multiple data sources for a complete analysis
  • Produce routine reports and trackers to assist sales team program execution
  • Educate sales on data report details on an ad-hoc basis
  • Develop reports and tools that improve the use of data across the organization
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to uncover insights
  • Seek continuous improvement and new ideas for delivering insights to the organization

Data Presentations (40%)
  • Develop Beer Category and Flavored Beer Business Reviews
  • Curate compelling visual presentations that tell stores with data
  • Deliver consistent insights to sales group members in support of key retailers
  • Attend retailer meetings and make assortment recommendations
  • Utilize advanced PowerPoint and Tableau to create captivating visualizations

Consumer Insights (10%)
  • Utilize shopper panel data to provide flavor consumer insights to internal and external stakeholders
  • Upkeep of shopper groups within Numerator system
  • Create custom product groups for ad-hoc analyses

Shelf Support (10%)
  • Draw data-driven flavored beer planograms for key retailer resets as needed
  • Accurately validate shelf sets with short turnaround deadlines
  • Advise retailers on the best shelf strategy to grow the beer category

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications, Education, & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Category insights experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Advanced Formulas), PowerPoint (Creating Charts/Tables, Building Stories, Animations), Tableau, and other Third-Party software applications (Qlikview)
  • Syndicated Scan & Panel Data Analysis (Circana, Numerator)
  • Experience in Space Management Software a plus (JDA, Syndigo)
