The On-Premise Director - NY will be responsible for the development and performance of all on-premise sales activities in assigned market. Directs and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for customers.
 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
●        Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
●        Builds relationships and works closely with distributors and/or brokers to ensure company expectations are met and brand building occurs
●        Responsible for the performance and development of Sales Associates; Insures that all Sales Associates meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes
●        Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
●        Conducts one-on-one review with all Sales Associates to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Associates’ sales and activity performance
●        Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets 
●        Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
●        Responsible for making market calls (both on- and off-premise) at a minimum of 3-4 days per week in various markets
●        Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
●        Provides timely, accurate and competitive pricing on all proposed pricing, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
●        Creates and conducts sales presentations and brand building efforts
●        Assists Sales Associates in preparation of sales presentations 
●        Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
●        Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
●        Recruits and hires Sales Associates based on criteria agreed upon by senior management
●        Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
●        5+ years experience in sales management
●        Exhibits passion for the industry and new products and has an entrepreneurial spirit
●        Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
●        Beverage alcohol experience highly preferred
●        Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
●        Willingness to travel 60% of the time
●        Sets examples for Sales Associates in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work ethic and habits
●        Excellent communication and presentation skills
●        Ability to multitask and handle daily deadlines
●        Ability to be both strategic and tactical from managing distributors and sales personnel to calling on accounts
●        BA, BBA or BS preferred, MBA optional
