Responsibilities:
· Identify local, regional, and national customers, plan and execute sales calls within territory.
· Effectively plan on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to meet goals to increase account base, market share, space allocation, and build brand awareness.
· Ensures maximum brand visibility and marketability within accounts by utilizing effective shelf management, display position, and current point-of-sale materials when appropriate.
· Strong interpersonal, sales, and leadership skills to develop key on-premise and retail customer relationships.
· Educate account staff on brand and category by administering trainings.
· Educate and sample consumers on the brand, where legal.
· Maintain accurate records regarding distributor profiles, retail and on-premise distribution, and competitive activity and pricing.
· Develop and grow your brand, market, and industry knowledge to effectively promote sales.
· Communicate and coordinate merchandising tactics to accounts and support merchandising activities as needed.
· Report on issues related to the competitive market and offer constructive suggestions.
· Managing account inventory for maximum sales opportunity.
· Active participation in weekly sales team calls to share progress and best practices
· Ensure all sales practices are compliant with state & company policies/law
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
· At least 1 years business/sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Must possess a valid Driver’s License
· Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Proficient PC, Google Suite, and CRM software
· Goal-oriented, driven, with strong negotiation skills, and an assertive individual who is abile to work independently.
· Ability to work and succeed in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
· Must be a detail and results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills
· Able to analyze and understand data and information to identify sales opportunities
· Understand retail pricing and can calculate retail margin and markup.
· Experience in identifying and executing events, festivals, tastings, and promotions
Compensation:
Compensation:
· Base salary: $30,000 – $45,000 (based on geography)
· Expenses: Expense budget and mileage allowance
