Wine Sales Representative in NY/ NJ

PairME Wines is a company that aims to simplify consumer decisions when it comes to wine pairings. The 'ME' in our name stands for 'Moods and Experiences' as we aim to create specific wines to pair with them. Our goal is to bring wines to life through bespoke labels that create a sense of relatability with consumers' daily 'Moods & Experiences.'
 
We source our wines from various regions in France & Italy and price position based on the style of the label rather than the quality of the wine.  We have been in business since 2019 and are sold in 12 States.
 
In NY and NJ we use a third-party logistics company to distribute our wines directly to retailers and restaurants. We are now expanding and are seeking salespeople for New Jersey (all counties)and New York (Long Island/Queens, Brooklyn, Westchester and Manhattan) who would be willing to work regularly on a base, incentive and commission structure. 
 
The ideal candidate is energetic, passionate, and professional. We require them to be responsible for increasing sales & building relationships with on and off-premise buyers. The salesperson will oversee introducing and selling our product lines to the buyers, and training the store/restaurant staff to sell the wines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Prospecting Liquor Stores and Restaurants 
·      Making a successful sales presentation to wine buyers that will lead to the sale
·      Maintaining and Developing relationships with managers, and employees 
·      Developing monthly, weekly, and daily written plans for execution
·      Planning weekly schedules of visits of prospects and accounts
·      Maintaining and developing relationships with managers, and employees
·      Planning or participating in paid trade and in-store tasting events 
·      Scheduling orders: invoicing, deliveries and following up on payment collections

QUALIFICATIONS:
·      With at least one year of work experience as a Sales Representative in the wine or liquor industry
·      Established network of clients is a plus but not required
·      With a solid knowledge of wine is an advantage
·      Candidates with work experience in the hospitality industry or any sales job with a proven track record of successful selling will be also considered
