Job Duties
  • Be the key contact with distributors and retailers to drive Von Payne Sales and sales activities.
  • Establish new Accounts and Activations for Von Payne as an ultra-premium brand.
  • Expand Von Payne sales in new markets.
  • Manage the relationship with distributors and Retailers to ensure product velocity and sales growth.
  • Lead the development of annual account sales and promotional plans that will deliver sales and growth targets.
  • Maintain maximum store inventories through effective communication and management of shipments through distributor.
  • Manage and execute programs to maximize distribution, pricing, promotional and merchandising goals.
  • Provide support to on-premise and off-premise accounts through sales materials, product training, promotions, and tasting program management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Distributor, Major Spirit Retailers, Marketing Managers, District Managers and staff to maximize new activations and sales.
  • Utilize available sales data to identify opportunities and capitalize on marketplace competitive trends and opportunities.
  • Find and manage strategic accounts to establish Von Payne as an emerging market leader.
  • Dedicate time on account calls and new account development.
  • Maintain face-to-face meetings with accounts supplemented with phone communication.
  • Work in concert with Distributor Analyst, Divisional State Lead, Supervisors and Field Reps to ensure Von Payne visibility, attention and focus taking responsive action on all potential opportunities.
  • Ensure proper attention to and execution of all administrative duties and CRM activities.
  • Ensure proper preparation for presentations.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews with Distributor Management and Von Payne Management team.
  • Monthly review of sales achievement, goals, promotional and promotional plans..
  • Communicate and teach excellence and expectations to sales, promotional and merchandising teams.
  • Develop and maintain an Account Profile and Account Facts books to facilitate sharing of knowledge and ensure smooth transition for potential succession planning.
  • Manage T&E budget.
  • Manage Subordinates activities, goals, duties and accountability.
  • Establish retail and on-premise rankings for account management purposes.
  • Conduct meetings with marketing team to establish quality of promotion, goals and ensure coordination of efforts.
  • Quarterly assessments of promotional performance and new promotional planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 Year minimum experience in Spirits/alcohol sales.
  • Established industry relationships.
  • Strong understanding of Spirits/alcohol beverage market in retail, chain, on-premise and distributor support.
  • Strong commercial understanding (i.e. Display/Merchandising, desired Price Points & Shelf Management Standards).
  • Strong understanding of alcohol shopping behaviors.
  • Computer competency required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, time management, fiscal management, and presentation skills required.
  • Maintain vehicle in a professional, efficient manner.
  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Must secure and maintain required auto insurance.
  • Must reside in Florida
  • Overnight and frequent travel required.
