About The Position

The role of Oregon Market Manager at House Spirits Distillery, reporting directly into the CEO, is a tremendous opportunity for an entrepreneurially-minded professional to join a remarkable team, drive the next wave of growth at House Spirits, and to be at the forefront of the craft spirits revolution.



The Oregon Market Manager represents the House Spirits portfolio in the market, and ensures that each brand’s messaging is clear, consistent and effective in all sales-related activity. This demands unrivaled sales execution focusing on brand sales activation, including: 1) growth from the bottom-up, 2) building and supporting key relationships in the trade (from distributor/broker, to bartender, to off premise agent), and 3) managing the tactical short- and long- term objectives to grow volume.

Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Call on a designated number of key on & off-premise accounts with primary responsibility for expanding distribution/volume across the portfolio
  • Successfully launch all new products in the on & off-premise channels, achieving volume and distributions KPIs
  • Plan and execute in-market activity involving House Spirits colleagues, e.g. tastings, whiskey dinners featuring a distiller, and more 
  • Orchestrate sales blitzes with distributor/broker, focusing on key holiday periods
  • Educate and train our distributor/broker partner team regarding each brand’s unique selling proposition, benefits, and story 



  • 5 years of sales experience or commensurate spirits industry education/experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of the spirits industry (categories, brands, suppliers, distributors, trade), and of the Oregon market
  • Expertise in brand introduction and activation in on- and off-premise accounts 
  • Effective communication and analytical skills
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of productivity tools, e.g. MS Office, cloud tools including Box.com, major social media platforms
